0:00In ConsignTrak, everything starts with your supply partners — the manufacturers who own the inventory you warehouse on consignment. In this video, we'll look at the supply partner list, tour a partner's hub page, and set up a brand-new partner from scratch.
0:16From the menu, choose Supply Partners. Every partner has a code — that short number comes from your legacy system, so long-time staff can keep using the numbers they already know — along with the company name and status.
0:30Let's open Apex Bearing Company. Click anywhere on the row.
0:35This is the partner hub — one page that answers most questions about a partner. Contact details, how many items of theirs you're holding, their recent orders, and their recent activity, all in one place.
0:49The Inventory card counts every active item this partner has consigned to you. View all items jumps straight to the inventory list, already filtered to just their stock.
1:01Recent Orders shows what's been moving. And because supply partners often ask "what happened with our stock this month?", the Activity Report button gives you a filterable, dateable report you can download as a PDF — ready to send along.
1:17Now let's add a new partner. Back on the list, click New supply partner.
1:22Give them a code and a name. The code is short — usually a number carried over from your old system — and the name is the company itself. We'll add Blue Ridge Gear Works as partner thirty-four.
1:35The type tells ConsignTrak how you handle their stock — consigned is the usual arrangement: they own it, you warehouse it.
1:44Click Create supply partner, and the new hub page is ready — empty for now, but as soon as their first stock transfer arrives, the inventory and activity cards fill in on their own.
1:56That's supply partners: a code, a name, and a hub page that keeps everything about the relationship one click away. Next up: receiving their stock into the warehouse.
