0:00A delivery just landed on the dock. Instead of carrying paperwork to a desk, you receive it right at the pallet — count, inspect, and post, all from the phone. Let's work a delivery from Granite Belt and Pulley.
0:14From Receiving, start a new batch: choose the supply partner, note the packing-slip number, and save. The date's already filled in.
0:22Now count the pallet. The add-line field works like everywhere else — a few characters finds the part — then the quantity you counted. Eighteen timing belts, and twelve double-angle belts.
0:35Counting done — tap Ready to Inspect, and tap again to confirm. The batch locks for inspection.
0:42Inspection on the phone is a swipe. These timing belts look perfect — swipe the line to the right, and every unit passes.
0:51The second box took a forklift hit. Swipe left instead, and the damage form opens: count how many failed — one — and note what you saw.
1:00Then the important part: photo evidence, straight from the camera. On consignment, "one damaged in transit" isn't a claim — it's a documented fact the supply partner can see.
1:12Both lines inspected — post the batch. The good stock goes live in inventory, and the damaged belt goes to quarantine with its photo, waiting on a disposition.
