0:00A warehouse without bin locations runs on memory — whoever knows where things live. ConsignTrak gives every part an address instead: zone, aisle, shelf. In this video, we'll tour the bins, create a whole new zone in one step, and check the health reports that keep locations honest.
0:18Locations, from the menu. Every bin shows its zone, its type, how many items live there, and the quantity on hand. The zone tabs across the top let you walk the warehouse zone by zone.
0:32Open a bin and you get its full story: exactly which items sit there right now, and an activity trail of everything that's happened to the location itself.
0:42Now let's rack out a new zone. Bulk create takes ranges instead of one bin at a time: zone C, aisle one, shelves one through two — and the code template controls how the addresses read.
0:56Preview shows exactly what will be created before anything is — two new bins, no surprises. Confirm, and zone C exists.
1:05The health reports answer three questions every warehouse eventually asks: which active bins are sitting empty, is any stock stranded at a retired bin, and is anything over capacity. Our brand-new zone C bins show up as empty and ready — exactly right.
1:23And when the racking is ready, print bin labels straight from the list — scannable at the shelf, so pickers and counters confirm they're at the right address with the phone camera.
