0:00The old way to keep inventory honest was a once-a-year physical: shut down, count everything, argue about the differences. Cycle counting replaces that with a few bins a day, every day — and on consignment, where the stock belongs to your supply partners, that steady accuracy is the whole ballgame.
0:19Here's the whole setup: one button. Generate Today's Count picks a random sample of items — with their bin locations — and drops you straight into the day's batch.
0:30Each line shows the item, its bin, and what the system believes is there. Click Start Counting — that locks today's snapshot, so the numbers don't drift under you mid-count.
0:42Now walk the bins. First item: count what's physically on the shelf, type it in, click Count. This one matches the system — most do — and the line simply goes green.
0:54Second bin comes up two short. Enter the real count — the truth, not the system's opinion — and ConsignTrak shows the variance right on the line.
1:04A variance doesn't fix itself — someone approves it. Approve Adj posts a real inventory adjustment, with a movement record naming the count, the difference, and who approved it. The supply partner can see exactly why their number changed.
