0:00When a supply partner replenishes your warehouse, the goods come in on a truck — and ConsignTrak walks that delivery through three clear stages: a draft batch while you count, an inspection pass for quality, and a final post that moves everything into live inventory. Let's receive a shipment together.
0:19This is the receiving queue. Every batch lives here with its status — draft, verified, or posted — so nothing that arrived at the dock can quietly fall through the cracks.
0:30Summit Drive Systems just delivered. Click the new batch button, choose the partner, and confirm the date — today is already filled in.
0:39Create the batch, and we're in the batch detail — still a draft, which means we can add and adjust lines freely while we count the pallets.
0:48Add the first item. Start typing the part number — the same forgiving search as everywhere else — pick the item, and enter the quantity you counted: forty bushings.
0:59Same thing for the second pallet — twenty-four wedge belts. Each line also has room for a reference number and a bin location, if you assign them at the dock.
1:10Counting done. Click Ready to Inspect — and notice the button asks you to click it again. That's ConsignTrak's way of confirming important steps without a pop-up: one click to arm, a second to commit.
1:23Now each line gets a quality check. Click Inspect on the first line. The form asks one simple question: how many failed? Zero — these bushings look great. Save.
1:35Same for the belts. If something had been damaged in transit, you'd count the failures here — and those pieces would head to quarantine with photos, instead of into sellable stock.
1:47Everything passed. Post to Inventory is the moment of truth — click, and click again to confirm — and the stock levels update, with a movement record written for every line. On consignment, that paper trail is everything.
2:01Let's prove it. Over in Inventory, search for the bushing — and there it is: forty more on hand than this morning. Counted, inspected, and on the books.
